Erin Coffin Moore

At 16, Erin Coffin Moore was placed in Phoenix House, a "therapeutic community" based on the now-defunct cult, Synanon. The "troubled teen" had a difficult homelife and suffered additional abuse at Phoenix House. She writes about it on her blog and is working on a memoir about her experience and the years of healing it's required.
